Enliven Games ("Flag Squat") ยท Effective July 10, 2026
Flag Squat is a squat-controlled arcade game by Enliven. We built it to collect as close to nothing as possible. This page explains, in plain words, what our servers receive and what never leaves your device.
What we collect
When your device is online and you finish a run, the app submits the result to our leaderboard server. A submission contains only:
- A random player ID โ a UUID generated on your device. It is not your name, email, or Apple ID, and we cannot link it to you.
- The nickname you chose (up to 16 characters).
- The 2-letter country code of the flag you picked.
- Your score, squat count, and run duration.
- Your Strength Rank tier.
We also store duel results (the score each side of a duel reports) and a few anonymous analytics events โ for example "a share link was created" or "a share page was viewed" โ with no personal information attached.
What we don't collect
- Your camera never leaves your device. Squat detection runs entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Camera frames are never recorded by us, never uploaded, and never seen by anyone.
- No ads, no tracking, no selling of data. There are no ads, no ad-tracking identifiers, and we never sell or share your data with anyone.
- No third-party analytics SDKs. The only analytics are the anonymous events above, stored on our own server.
- No email, no real name, no precise location, no contacts, no photos.
Death clips and screen recordings are optional and started by you: the video is created and stored on your device only, and goes nowhere unless you yourself share it with the iOS share sheet.
How scores and leaderboards work
Leaderboards identify you only by the random player ID. Other players see the nickname you chose, your country flag, your score, and your Strength Rank badge โ nothing else exists to show. Pick any nickname you like; it does not have to be your real name (and probably shouldn't be).
iCloud and Game Center
Your progress syncs between your devices through iCloud key-value storage under your own Apple account. That data travels between your device and Apple โ we never receive it. Game Center leaderboards are optional and operated by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
Data retention
- Leaderboard entries (nickname, country, score) persist so the all-time boards keep working. Daily-challenge boards auto-delete after about two weeks.
- Duel results auto-delete after 7 days.
- Analytics events auto-delete after 30 days.
Children
There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking โ for anyone, including children. Family profiles are created by a parent and stored only on the device; marking a profile as a kid's only changes a badge shown in the app. We never knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Your choices
- Play without submitting: if your device is offline, nothing is sent. When you are online, run results are submitted automatically so the worldwide leaderboards work.
- Delete your data: email info@enliven.ai with your nickname and country and we will remove your leaderboard entries.
- Camera: you can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings โ the game needs it to detect squats, so play requires it.
GDPR and CCPA
The data controller is Enliven (enliven.ai). The little data we hold is pseudonymous โ we could not identify you from it if we tried. You still have the right to access, correct, or erase it: email info@enliven.ai and include your nickname and country so we can find your entries. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of under CCPA.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted at this address with a new effective date. This version is effective July 10, 2026.
